HD Video Production for Theatre | The Seacoast Rep

We do a lot of driving. We’re shooting from Portland, Maine to Boston, MA, and everywhere in between, on a weekly basis. It’s important to us, however, to establish strong local connections here in Portsmouth, and one of the organizations we’re proud to work with frequently is the Seacoast Repertory Theatre. They’ve been around for decades, producing entertaining plays, putting on concerts, and contributing to the arts scene on the Seacoast.

Knate Higgins is their Social Marketing Manager, and one aspect of his job is to get the word out about their upcoming shows through their website and social media platforms. The nature of our relationship with the Rep is that we attend the opening performance of their main stage shows, and produce a trailer featuring clips from the show, a bit of back story from the actors and director, and some reactions from the audience. The goal is to entice folks to come to future performances.

In the clip above, Knate explains why video is such an important part of their marketing, and why they have essentially done away with their print advertising to focus on relaying the theatre experience that they offer through video content. See some of the trailers we’ve produced for their mainstage shows:
